Laura-India Garinois



Laura-India Garinois is a designer, researcher, and educator working at the intersections of architecture, media, and the environment. Her work investigates the commodification of nature and the lifespan of building materials. 

She is cofounder of Superinfra, a design-research practice focused on infrastructure, phenomenology, and ecological restoration.

Laura-India has taught at the Rhode Island School of Design, Northeastern, and Wentworth Institute of Technology. She has worked at CODA, Hou de Sousa, Trimble Architecture, White Arkitekter, ZGF, and Rafi Segal A+U. Her projects have been exhibited internationally at venues including the Venice Architecture Biennale, Thessaloniki Design Week and ETH Zürich, and published in POOL Magazine, the Journal of Architectural Education, ASSOCIATION, and KoozArch.

She holds a Master of Science in Architecture Studies (SMArchS AD) from MIT and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University.
